It was a whole 70 minutes, at least 200 fluffy big flakes,, hahaha,
I threw snowballs in the road ahead of two vehicles,
got honks and flashing lights in appeciation..
thrill for this 69 year old..
we had a heavy snow last year , accumulation lasted overnight..
it was a record in accumlation.tonight was a record early date..

Snap has some snow in Houston also! I know, I know, Global Warming, Shmobal Warming. It's a bad term of use, I think it relates more to the polar ice caps than the rest of the globe. It's wacky weather alright. It's December 5 and we have NO snow on the ground! Three Christmases ago I was out in my jean jacket doing yard work (unheard of EVER here) and two Christmases ago we had had three major snow storms already, enough to close the schools on three separate occasions before Christmas break (again, unheard of here) with a total accumulation of over 120 centimetres (about 60 inches). That was some winter, we all didn't know where to put the snow at some point, it was storm after storm, driving around in restidential areas you could barely see around corners because of the piles. I'm glad we don't have that much (yet anyway) although I'm hoping to get our Christmas tree today and a little of the white stuff does crank up the spirit a bit.
No snow for us yet! We don't get much. This week has just been drizzle and grey cloud making us all depressed and miserable. Have fun making the most of the snow!
That is awesome that you enjoyed it so much. I need to get into that spirit and enjoy when it gets here too. Take care miss ya.

yeh... Global warming my butt... this is just normal cycling if folks would take the time to check out the history..... it comes and goes... has done for millennia....
